Lectrobase, Electrically Conductive Electropaint Systems From LVH Coatings Ltd.
Lectrobase
is a range of electrically conductive electrocoats based on polyurethane resins containing
dispersed electroconductive agents. Whilst normal electrocoat technology results in
an electrically insulating layer, the LVH Lectrobase technology provides paint layers
which can have high degrees of electrical conductivity. The electrocoat process
itself provides many advantages for applying a paint layer over electrically conductive
surfaces including:-
Complete coverage of the surfaces. Controlled consistent thickness. High levels of resistance to corrosion, chemicals and UV light as
necessary. Advanced physical properties such as
hardness and resistance to wear and abrasion. Wide range of
decorative effects. An environmentally friendly water based
system.
Applications include:-
Anti static coatings Electrical
grounding/shielding Multiple
electrocoatings (for special decorative effects)
